Happy Halloween!

Jade and I entered a pumpkin carving contest at our 

apartments and we won 3rd place. We got a gift card to

 Hollywood Video! We think that  our pumpkins are pretty cool!

Fun with the nieces and nephews

Last week my sister in law Ashlee and her two boys came 

to visit us and my other sister in law Brook. This is Jade

and I with Grady, isn't he just too cute!

It was such a great week spending time with family :)

Trip to Zion

My parents came to visit this weekend. We saw Big River at Tuacahn on 

Friday and then went to Zion on Saturday. Zion was beautiful, it is a

perfect time of year to go visit the park. We spent the rest of our time

shopping around St. George and playing cards. It was great to see my

parents, it seems that time always goes by too fast when family is visiting. 

 

One of those weeks!

Jade received a call from his boss last Thursday 

telling him that he was going to be let go 

from work. He has worked at GreenValley 

for three years, but because of the terrible 

economy there is just no more work. At the time

we were both disappointed, but we are being optimistic 

and hoping that he will be able to go back soon once

the economy starts to improve. In the mean time 

Jade is looking for something else until he can go back to

Green Valley or find another decent job. My wonderful

sister in-law Ashlee is here visiting this week and she

went to Wal-Mart and bought us some food! We are

so thankful for such an amazing family. I don't know

what we would do without them!

Kendrick

Since we live somewhere that won't let us have a dog

we had to get a hamster instead. His name is Kendrick

and he will be a year old in December. He can be loud at

night seeing how Hamsters are nocturnal. (We didn't

know that until we got him home, haha!) We love

him anyways!
